Natasha nasceu num corpo feminino, mas desde criança sente-se um homem e prefere ser chamada de Jefrey, sua personalidade transexual. Já 'Fer' Scalabrini chegou a ser modelo fotográfico, antes de fazer ponto na Avenida Aquidabã e ficar conhecido como Orgastic Boy. Os personagens são fictícios, assim como suas resumidas biografias. Mas são emblemáticos e por isso nomeiam bonecos expostos nas paredes da casa cor-de-rosa que sedia a primeira escola gay do País, inaugurada sábado (13/03) no Jardim Nova Europa, em Campinas. Confeccionadas por participantes de oficinas do Grupo E-Jovem, organização não governamental (ONG) embrionária da Escola Jovem LGBT (Lésbicas, Gays, Bissexuais e Transexuais), as figuras de pano retratam as dificuldades enfrentadas por quem se descobre — e se revela — homossexual. “Nenhuma dessas histórias é fácil. São pessoas que enfrentam uma realidade de violência e discriminação. Essa é uma das justificativas para existir a escola, encontrar formas de lidar com preconceito, que entendemos ser falta de conhecimento”, afirma o diretor e um dos idealizadores do projeto, Deco Ribeiro. Aberta com cinco cursos livres (fanzine, teatro, dança, canto e coral e web TV), a escola é um dos 300 pontos de cultura do Brasil beneficiados com recursos do Fundo Nacional de Cultura. Selecionada pela Secretaria de Estado da Educação para integrar o programa com duração de três anos, a Escola LGBT, que tem sete professores e 64 alunos, receberá R$ 60 mil anuais. Os conteúdos serão formatados e apresentados pelos alunos em diferentes linguagens e produtos. “Vamos desenvolver conteúdo educativo para veiculação em qualquer tevê pública, com objetivo de melhorar a relação com a diversidade e promover a tolerância”, explica Fábio Silva, professor de web TV. Outra resultante das aulas será a peça de teatro Nem tudo está perdido, de autoria de Gustavo Tonini, mais conhecido como a drag queen Priscilla, a ser encenada em junho. “É a história de um menino gay coagido por homofóbicos até que encontra sua ‘fada madrinha’, uma drag queen, que passa a lhe aconselhar para ser feliz”, resume Tonini. O curso de dança terá um módulo de performance artística a cargo da drag Lohren Beauty, ou Chesller Moreira, coordenador do E-Jovem. “Vamos mostrar desde maquiagem e figurino a noções de inglês, porque dublagem não é mascar chiclete”, afirma ela, que exalta ainda a multidisciplinaridade da escola.
